Whisteblowing service

Via the whistleblowing system, everyone has the possibility to notify the company of any suspected serious wrongdoings. In order to reassure people of anonymity, the service is run by an external partner, WhistleB Whistleblowing Centre AB.

We want to do things the right way

Rottneros strives to maintain an open business climate and high business ethics. In our business, we care about safety and have respect for everyone who has a concern in our business. You have an important role to play if we are to succeed.

Our Whistleblowing service

The whistleblowing system gives everyone the possibility to notify the company of any suspected serious wrongdoings. Our whistleblowing service is an “early warning system” to reduce risks. It is important to protect good corporate governance and maintain our customers’ and the general public’s confidence in us.

In the first instance, we encourage you to go to a manager. If you feel that you cannot be open with your information, we offer you the possibility to anonymously report your misgivings.

When can I use the Whistleblowing service?

The whistleblowing service can be used to submit information about a misgiving regarding something which is not in line with our values and ethical principles and which can seriously impact our organisation or a person’s life or health.

You do not need to have proof confirming your suspicion, but all communication must be submitted in good faith.

How your communication is processed

in order to protect your anonymity, the service is run by an external partner, WhistleB Whistleblowing Centre, , https://report.whistleb.com/rottneros

The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected. All messages will be processed in confidence.

Processing of the case

Cases that come in via the whistleblowing service go to two people appointed by the Group CEO. These are the CFO and HR director (the “Case managers”).

The cases are dealt with without delay and reported to the Group CEO. In the event that a case concerns the Group CEO, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors is informed.

The case managers decide if they are qualified to investigate the case or if other people need to complement the Group.

If a case concerns one of the appointed people, this person must immediately report this to the Group CEO, who appoints a replacement to deal with the case in hand.

The whistleblower is recontacted via WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre.

A report on the number of incoming cases is presented to the audit committee every three months. If necessary, and if the integrity of all parties can be ensured, a more detailed report can be presented.
