Girl or boy. Young or old. Swedish or not. Rottneros’ sharp focus on sustainability - ecologically, socially and economically - has a clear effect.

- Within Rottneros you can make a career on different routes. We want to see more women in the forest industry and we want to highlight people with different driving forces. You have to work hard, but with us you also have room to work differently and in freedom, explains Ida Mörtsell, HR director for Rottneros.

During the SPCI (Swedish Paper and Cellulose Association) spring meeting for students at Uppsala University, Ida Mörtsell was given the opportunity to present Rottneros’ thoughts on Sustainable Career.

- In short, we cannot exclude 50 per cent of the population when we must compete for the workforce in small communities such as Vallvik and Rottneros where our fine pulp mills are located. It goes without saying that we must be open and flexible to attract the right people with the right attitude to our business.
