For more than four decades, we at Nykvist Skogs have worked to nurture, manage and create long-term value for our forest owners. The company was founded in 1979 by brothers Lennart and Sven Nykvist in Gräsmark, a place that is still our hub and where we are deeply rooted.

Our journey began with felling operations for local sawmills. In the 1990s, the timber trading business grew to provide a better service and create year-round employment. Over the years, we have developed into a larger and more complete forestry company. Today we are part of the Rottneros Group. Our success is based on a genuine commitment to forests, close relationships with forest owners and the continuous development of our services.

Today we employ over 50 people, including our own staff and local forest contractors. For us, it is important that our partnerships are long-term.
